Antigamente o sitio densamente arborizado, com floresta de carvalhos e faias. Local propicio a meditação e busca dos sinais espirituais da mãe natureza.
Aqui residiu alguém 'ALMO' vocábulo quer dizer: que alenta que alimenta, benigno, vivificante, puro, santo, ilustre, respeitado, venerável.
Confirmando que escrevi acerca de Alfaquiques, Almorquim seria morada de um clérigo moçárabe, clérigo na nomenclatura arábica há séculos, também se designava ALFAQUIM, deste modo surgiu ALMOFAQUIM, pela 'fala' quotidiana originou ALMORQUIM ou seja onde habitava um 'homem santo' no tempo que os muçulmanos dominaram a região, e depois no período da consolidação do poder dos cristãos vencedores.

Formerly the site densely wooded, with forest of oaks and beeches. A place conducive to meditation and the search for the spiritual signs of Mother Nature.
Here resided someone 'ALMO' word means: that encouragement that nourishes, benign, life-giving, pure, holy, illustrious, respected, venerable.
Confirming that I wrote about Alfaquiques, Almorquim would be the abode of a Mozarabic cleric, cleric in the Arabic nomenclature for centuries, it was also called ALFAQUIM, in this way ALMOFAQUIM appeared, by the daily 'speech' originated ALMORQUIM ie where a 'holy man' lived at the time that the Muslims dominated the region, and then in the period of the consolidation of the power of the victorious Christians.
