Remonta ao início do século XVI, tendo sido doada à Ordem de Cristo em 1531.
Entre esta data e o ano de 1543 o prior do Convento de Cristo, Frei António de Lisboa aumentou a área da quinta mandando construir no local um 'assento de casas com oratório' que passaram a servir de casa de repouso aos freires de Tomar.
Estas casas quinhentistas, reformadas no inicio do Sec. XVII, durante o priorado de Frei António Moniz.
As obras realizadas entre 1617 e 1626, englobaram a reconstrução do edifício principal aproveitando a estrutura primitiva, edifício este que apresenta a fachada principal dividida em dois registos, o superior rasgado por várias fenestrações de moldura retangular dispostas a espaços regulares.
As fachadas laterais são marcadas pela disposição de contrafortes com remates piramidais.
A fachada lateral esquerda tem no andar superior uma loggia de arcadas duplas, ao centro da qual foi aberta uma janela de modelo Serliano.
A antiga capela dispõe-se junto à fachada posterior, sendo a nave decorada com painéis de azulejos seiscentistas.
Sublimes duas divisões, uma sala com azulejos ponta de diamante da primeira metade do Sec. XVII e um salão para onde se abrem as antigas celas dos freires.
Faz ainda parte deste património um pombal e zona de lazer junto ao Rio Nabão denominada Açude de Pedra.

It dates back to the beginning of the sixteenth century, having been donated to the Order of Christ in 1531.
Between this date and the year 1543, the prior of the Convent of Christ, Friar António de Lisboa, increased the area of the farm, ordering the construction of a 'seat of houses with oratory' that began to serve as a retirement home for the friars of Tomar.
These sixteenth-century houses were renovated at the beginning of the 17th century, during the priory of Friar António Moniz.
The works carried out between 1617 and 1626 included the reconstruction of the main building taking advantage of the primitive structure, a building that has the main façade divided into two registers, the upper one torn by several fenestrations of rectangular frame arranged for regular spaces.
The side facades are marked by the arrangement of buttresses with pyramidal finials.
The left side façade has on the upper floor a loggia of double arcades, in the centre of which a Serlian window has been opened.
The old chapel is located next to the rear façade, and the nave is decorated with seventeenth-century tile panels.
Two sublime rooms, a room with diamond-tipped tiles from the first half of the 17th century and a hall where the old cells of the friars open.
Also part of this heritage is a dovecote and leisure area next to the Nabão River called Açude de Pedra.
